The Terran Knowledge Bank
I strongly believe that this should be renamed to Humans. When the distinction is made (see the discussion about Hawk in the Wing Commander IV novel), the implication is that Terran is synonymous with Confederation. They may all be Terrans to outsiders, in the same way that all Americans are Yankees, but internally there's a line drawn. Reading phrases like "Terran pilot of the Union of Border Worlds" comes off as bizarre. - Bob 16:09, 29 August 2010 (CDT)

Some use Terran to mean Human, so I've tried to treat Confederation as distinct from Terran. But I concur. When I first started here, I treated it as synonymous with Confederation. - Wedge
