Deacan's Das Erwachen giveaway contest is still under way. Participation so far has been low, so your chances at winning a free signed copy of Book 2 Stille is high. All you have to do is write a short article describing your experiences flying (or visiting) a Privateer 2 ship (or location) for Deacan's P2 info database project. Entries can be posted directly to Crius.net. You can find more info here.

Well, this is strange - over 10.000 views on the first book of that series, a complete line of 44 books goes away across europe, several good statements and reviews of that one...
But it seems that nearly no one wants to take his (or her) hands on the second book at all...

So, whats up?

well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I didn't want to get greedy after my luck with the xbox360 contest last year. Plus I don't read german. But if there are gonna be no takers,... I may just start doing reviews of all my favorite P2 ships :P

Well, if it makes you feel better, something like this is not uncommon at all. For CIC activities it's pretty normal for just a couple people to participate in some things out of thousands and thousands of viewers in the audience. No matter how simple or what the payoff is, most people won't get involved. Getting no replies when the first reply would pretty much guarantee a book is pretty out there though.

Just 5 days to go... but no entries so far. Sad, but true!

If no one are interessed, I will do this: the book goes over to the major staff of the CIC and they can use it as gift or give-away on somekind of contest...
