Jetlag has found that GameTap has released a 'commercial' advertising the original Wing Commander's addition to their service. A special video now plays while you're downloading the game (and at other points in the service). The voiceover narration they've come up with is especially cool... and very respectful towards the game!

Fans of Origin's other big series will be interested to learn that each of the five available Ultima titles feature a brief video introduction by Richard Garriott himself. You can download the Wing Commander trailer here (1.1 mb, .WMV format).
