WC CIC 8th birthday - present

I know i'm a bit late, but nonetheless i would like to congratulate you guys on keeping this place alive. For years this resource stays the best place about WingCommander games.

Here is my small present. A WC CIC wallapper. I used Milkyway photo from NASA's website as a background for this wallpaper and added some text and stylized WCCIC/Confed logo. Enjoy!

The stretched Confed logo is a bit weird. Everyone keeps coming on IRC and saying it reminds them of Star Trek. It's a mixture of the Bajoran emblem (my first thought) and the TOS star (AD's first thought).

Also similar to the comstar logo, for any battletech fans.

Zounds -- did they change the Star Trek teaser poster? I thought the background was half yellow, half blue before... which was rather telling as to the content of the new movie.

There's another version with part yellow.

That's the one I'm thinking of. It heavily suggests which of the rumored settings they're using for this movie...

Nice work, Cyberion!

The background image is pretty spectacular too.
