The Warrior King saga is something that we have touched on before, but a few people recently mentioned that they never heard the story. Since it's such a fun story and people seem to have missed in in the madness of our last birthday, it's worth covering again. LOAF previously wrote a beautiful story describing the whole saga, but if you don't want to read that I'll sum it up briefly. Star Trek's Michael Dorn played a 'warrior king' who traveled between all four of USA's November 1996 Saturday morning cartoons... starting in Street Fighter, moving on to Savage Dragon, then Mortal Kombat, and ending in Wing Commander Academy. The crossover received no publicity at the time, and it seems that very few people who watched actually noticed.
