My first encounter with WC was by accident. Ordered BoB, got WC1! I kept it and got hooked on it. Apart from playing WC I'm a sci-fi fan (especially B5, DS9 and S:AAB). I'm an active member in my net community (http://giga.de) and like working on my computer (improving it, upgrading it or, at least, keeping it working). I also love going to the movies. My hopes for the new year are to get my doctor's degree (I have to finish my dissertation first) and that OSI will finally announce that they are working on WC6!

Had WC2 back with my first CD Drive in 1993 and I enjoyed it. Just got the Creative Labs DVD and fell in love with WCIV DVD. This got me started on the WC KICK!

I was a military brat (navy) born and bred. I too joined the service
right out of high school and was stationed in Europe for several years.
Upon my return to the US I got involved with several forms of private
security (all legal), was a radio DJ, deliverd pizzas, ran a comic
bookstore, CSR for a video outlet, worked for just about anybody you can think of and then some. I became a member of a sci-fi fan club and met my current boss who introduced me to my current job.

Born in Rio, lived a good life to date. Played first WC game (WC1) in
1991, when I bought my first computer, a used 386 which came with some games
on its HD. Then everything changed. Was a member of the late WC club, SRA. I spend my spare time in the WC Universe, but I still have a lot of friends outside it. :)

Old Atari user, I took a break from computers from 1990 to 1999, thereby missing the whole PC revolution, but came back with a bang when a co-worker gave my Prophecy in November 1999. With the exception of a 6-month break I’ve been playing it and adding to the collection ever since!

I've been a WC freak since the first one came out (and I ran it on a 286 with EGA!) Always loved the music in the game, and Academy was my FAVOURITE of the series.. mission impossible was a popular theme around my missions.. =) Never had the money to get all WC in sight, but I tried.. =) Locke's
Workshop is my hobby and it's motto: "let's take what they've got and make
it a bit more.. interesting.." (evil grin).

When I'm not working I do web designing and high end graphics work. I'm also just getting into 3D modeling in Lightwave. I make models, wargames and also write science fiction novels as well. I'm not published yet but I will be. Aside from Wing Commander I am also a dedicated Star Wars and Babylon 5 nut.

A few years ago I discovered WC4 and loved it. From that day on I played WC. I bought WCP, WC1 and WC2 (WC3 I played with a friend). I love to blast bugs or Kilrathi, but the Kilrathi war is over so I concentrate on bugs! My favorite ships are: the Dragon and the Rapier. Because of the Rapier I´ve chosen my callsign, Boggieman (I love to dance with gatos and then blast them!). At the moment I am enjoying the WC comics, Maverick kicks ass! I am looking forward to WC6 and a chat session with other fans!

Fascinated by the Wing Commander story. Played all of the games and finished some of them (without cheating of course!). I always longed for a WC Movie. When it finally came... was I dissapointed? T-U-R-K-E-Y! The WC Movie should be banned for all eternity. I just hope they will make another (not a sequel) with some "good" actors, "good" manuscript and the original music, GOD DAMN IT!

Just imagine a guy who works hard through all the week developing a piece of software, hunting the bugs (in his own code). And finally when the weekend comes jumping into the cockpit of the hard-earned and well-kept Centurion to fly a couple of missions... And to get some exotic food in some exotic place... Well, that's me. I have been a WC fan since '92 (when I bought my first computer).
