My first contact with WC was when I played Wing Commander on my best friend's Amiga when I was about nine years old. I was hooked on the game instantly. When I got my first PC I bought WC1 and WC2 and played them every day. When WC3 came I convinced my friends to buy it. After a while we started WC club that played games and wrote stories. I really enjoyed playing WC4 and Prophecy, and I have never really liked Confed so I was very happy when I could join the rebels. I think the WC story is much better than Star Wars and other science fictions stories.

I call myself Whacko bacause when I first played WC1 (still the best!) I was
about 11 and really sucked, so my main method of killing enemies was to shoot them till their shields ran down and then ram them till they died ;) I have since improved my skill greatly (let me tell ya what to do with missiles! :) My dreams of the future are dreams of a really well made WC multiplayer game (so I can see if ya all are as good as ya say you are ;) And I will always consider myself a WC pilot because: "I love the purity!"

My first WC experience began with WC2. And when I finally had enough RAM in my computer I bought the budget version of WC3 and I was hooked. Originally I bought WC3 for the videos, but damn, this game was perfect. Then I bought WC4, excellent story. After that came WCP. I got it the first day it was available in Holland. WCSO: it took a while to download, but it was worth it. :) I also played P1, P2, Armada and Academy.

I've considered myself a Wing Commander fan since I was nine, when I first saw that cockpit in my 386 screen, somehow I knew that that would be my lifestyle for the rest of my life. Wing Commander is not just about a game, it is a saga, a true myth. WING COMMANDER FOREVER! Don't just play it, live it, honor it, breath it each second of your life. Let the saga continue!

My early years were actually not very interesting. When Privateer 2 came out, I was stunned. I tried to find the earlier WC games, but I came no further than III. One and two were taken away by those greedy capitalistic, commercialised salesmen. So I signed up with my Soviet comrades to... uh... now I've said too much. I shall end my statement here, the rest is classified. |

Started playing WC on SNES way back. But I really got into it in the Summer of '95 when a friend of mine loaned me WC 1&2, and he directed me to my first WC novel. I now play the games and write Fan Fic with the Wing Commander Aces club.

I am yet another Wing Commander freak and have been for nine years now since
the first WC game came out. Back then I had a lot of fun hex editing WC2 to fly Kilrathi ships, make new missions, etc. (God I wish I had more free time now).

I've been playing since it first came out, almost 10 years.....yikes. I still remember playing WC1 all day long. Jeez I didn't have a life back then. I picked up my copy at Price Club and have been hooked ever
since. I've been involved in the online WC community for many years. Outside of WC, I play soccer, party and hang out with my friends. Party on!

I started to play WC games in 1992. WC1 was my first one on my Amiga 500. After 4 years I bought WC4, my second WC. After these 2 exciting games, I decided to buy them all, and that's what I did. :) I like Physics, Astronomy, Sports(Kick Boxing, Boxing, Pancrace), Airplanes and Science Fiction movies/novels: Star Wars, Dune, Tekken, Resident Evil, and Metal Gear are my favorites, but nothing compared to WC. I just want to mention something: I don't consider in the WC Timeline the following: movie, SWC (and SM1.5), & WC Academy series. Many disagree with that. I'm not saying that these are not WC products, but they are not with the regular series. But we can take something from them.

I got started on Wing Commander when a friend gave me his WC2 Deluxe CD
that he couldn't get to work. Since then, I've played every game in the main
Wing Commander series... though sadly, I haven't managed to actually beat
any of them yet, mainly due to lack of time. One of these days, I'll take a
pilot all the way through from WC1 straight to Special Operations 2. I'd also like to start work on a Secret Ops conversion, replacing the ships,
missions and voices with ones from WC1 & 2 and their addons. Now, if I
could only find a copy of Secrets of the Wing Commander Universe...
