Wing Commander Three Footage

I want to know if anyone, at the moment I have looked at wcnews.com yet but does anyone have film footage/scenes from Wing Commander 3. To be specific the entire beginning movie scene from the arrival of the Kilrathi dreadnaught to the Blair and Paladin observation of the Concordia, Tolwyn and Blair's discussion and to Eisen, Blair and Hobbes encounter..
 
They didn't shoot WC3 on film, it was entirely video... and I don't think fans have gotten their hands on any of that yet, even.
 
I suppose that if you have wc3 for your PC you could just use the movie viewer and rip the into into an avi. But I havent actualy had any success extracting PSXs higher quality video yet... Just video capture. I don't know if anyone has tried extracting from 3DO disks as IIRC they are also better quality video than the PC version. If you give more info about why you want it someone might provide the PC version.

I just want the dialogue between Taggart and Blair where they were at the crash site of the Concordia, there was something there that caught my attention but I cannot remember it
 
U can use fraps to get the video off of WC3(the Kilrathi Saga one runs on windows), ill try it out and tell ya if it worked.
 
And it works, got footage from the beginning movie, ill need to reduce the size and reduce the sound level cause its extremely loud, then it will be done.
 
OK its a 412mb file, its High Rez, with video filters to clean it up a little, PCM 16bit 44khz sound and its abit loud even after I lowered it to almost nothing..

Even using the Kilrathi saga version, you should just be able to extract the reaw AVI's from the *.tre files using the Movie viewer found in the CIC's files section. It will extract the file you need to an uncompressed AVI and then you can trim and edit to your hearts content.. Either way the end result would be better than the FRAPS solution and Potentially have a more friendly file size too (once you save it as an mpg or a DIVX file)
 
The fraps solution made a 1gig .avi , the other solution made a nearly 2gig .avi
so I figure the smaller .avi will work fine, i just forgot to lower the viewing size...
 
The other file is bigger because you're extracting the uncompressed version. Then you have the flexibility to divx it and customize its quality and file size.
