Wing Commander in Russia?

I'm not sure - it was a great site. They used to interact with us frequently, but I haven't seen Black Joker or any other WC in Russians in years.
 
It was quite popular several years ago, but obviously it hasn't been updated since 2004 or so. It's good you have a backup. If the site does eventualy go down, let us know and we can host a mirror.
 
Uh, that's the thing. I don't have a copy of their on-line recreation, I was just saying I already had the original paper copy from the game. :/
 
It seems as though many of the old WC sites have been falling slowly. I can still remember the origin website Wing Commander section. I thought it was really stylish. You know, I wish I still had the power point presentation i made my freshman year in HS. A lot of the images and info i got is no longer found anywhere but here. It went through all of the Wing Commander games, was totally automated, changed the theme music as we entered the next game, and even had videos. From what I was told, the Microsoft Office teacher still uses it as her example of how to make a PP presentation. It went over really well... I should ask her for a copy.
 
I'm sure every 'generation' of fans remembers websites that aren't there anymore. I remember the Origin website (well, two sets of Origin websites) from *before* it was stylish. :) They had a wwwboard "Official Wing Commander Chat Zone" which is where I got my start with the online community... I always hated the flash site that replaced it.
