Why old sites?...

Can anyone tell me why it is that most of the WC fan sites I have in my bookmarks (most of which were gleaned from the CIC) are all outdated?.. Even such notables as Locke, Popsicle Pete, NavPoint, and others haven't been updated for months (and in some cases, years (This doesn't apply to the fan projects sites, so much, just the individual fan sites WITHOUT a project attached to them) What's up with this?...

Anyone who thinks that the percent of our news dedicated to fan projects is any different than the amount of news they'd get if there was a WC in development is too young to remember a development cycle... you don't get *anything* out of Origin <G>
