is the liberty that the veteran mentioned in the bar on nephele two referenced in any other canon material?
 
He's a character from the Wing Commander IV game - he shows up later in both the book and the game.
 
?? Was he asking about the man or the ship he flew off of for confed, the TCS Liberty. In which case the Ship is mentioned in the opening of the game. I have no Idea if the ship is mentioned elsewhere.
