WC3 install help please!

I went ahead and just bought a win98 pc just to play WC3 but i have no idea what commands to give it to install it. i dont have the guide for it, cant find one anywhere. can someone just give me the commands?
 
Well sir, you just wasted money. If you had something higher than win98, you could've just ran the necessary .exe in Windows98 compatibility mode.
And I don't know what you mean by commands, how are you trying to install it?

it doesnt have an autorun or anything like that, and i used to have this game on this exact same machine. i just need the prompt commands to install it
 
i have two other comps with winxp, but dosbox wasnt working either

Wing Commander 3 is not a Windows game. In DOS, you switch over to the CD drive, type WC3 and hit enter. You can try just running this in 98 and seeing how far you get.
