I just bought a copy of WC3 from an auction online. Stupidly, I took it for granted when the seller assured me it was a WIN95 version.
Its an Origin CD classics box, gold, with big printing on the cover of the box "Windows 95 version."
A lie.
I attempt to run the install sequence. It opens up a DOS box, runs through the joystick cal...then hangs completely at the CDROM check. I think the issue relates to my system having a Toshiba DVD-rom. Does anyone have some suggestions....or should I just go get a cheap CDROM?
