WC3 and WC4 Books

Tried using the 'Shift' key in combination with the arrow keys? I always play holding down 'Shift'.
 
i always use shift when i play but what does it do? i don't remember it even being in the manual. and the shift key thing doesn't work with Prophecy, as for as I know
 
IIRC, using arrow keys only for manoeuvring turns the ship at half the maximum rate, using shift turns the ship at the full rate. Of course, that's reversed in the WC3 'drunk' mission. :)
 
that mission was one of the best in WC3... it was a funny idea to fly drunk. Plus when you are given the option between having another drink or talkign to Rachel, it's pretty easy to pick the drink.
 
yep you take the drink.......and you need to scramble and fire a missle at hobbes...., personaly I don't care for hobbes too much but I do about my missles, so turn around and fly out of the carrier at the other side!
 
i like going after Hobbes too. I remember when i saw that happen... i was so pissed. it didn't care that Vequaro (sp?) dies... he sucks anyways
 
Such sentiment. I liked Hobbes, but I understand Ralgha needs to be blown out of space as badly as Thrakhath. :)
 
Hobbes was cool to talk to. i never really used him as my wingman... i prefer Vagabond or Maniac... it felt good to blast him out of the sky though...

Hey Vaquero was a good pilot, I never had any trouble having him as my wingman; a hippie that was focused in the cockpit.

Maniac was too dicey for me, As for the traitor, Hobbes, may he burn thru the nine leagues of the fiery domain!!

I imagine most people here took the drink over the used porn star. (I didn't)
 
In the book for WC3, does Blair end up with Rachel or Flint? My guess is Rachel b/c Flint dissapeared and Rachel popped up in Prophecy
 
Yes he ends with Rachel, Flint was killed in the Kilrah approach run.
Then in WC4 she leaves Blair and then reappers in WCP
 
I never read the books. Do they go with the game storyline? Are they totally different? Oh and how do I put a picture under my name, like some of you have with this?
