The Kilrathi are threatening Earth and brave pilots begin a breathtaking race against the clock to stop them. One of the pilots, 'Maniac' Marshall, can never cease to show off while landing. His friend Chris has the abillity to navigate space without a computer. Their youthfull bravery and courage are needed for the coming battle but must be lead by the Wing commander from the title. To their suprise it is a beautiful young woman. Uncoïncidentialy, Jürgen Prochnow, who you may know as the captain of "Das Boot", is also the captain. The huge space ships use techniques like the ones used in submarines, like firing torpedos and keeping quiet from enemys, excitment guaranteed.
