Yes, but You can 'lure' one cat from "main pack" and deal with it. In Claw Marks, they said, cat fighter have got limited radio range and they cannot send "Help me!" - message.

Well, and I always thought that this kind of flying was against the kats' nature!

I usually saw them flying around on their own and attack random targets.

Sometimes the Porcupine can be usefull. As the series progresses, mines are becoming increasingly effective. I killed more than one capship with mines in WC3, not by themselves, of course. I had to knock down the shields and armor with guns.

I killed a Kilrathi corvette once in the WCP sim with mines alone once.
