Thrust Enhancer not working

Greetings All:

I just purchaced a Thrust Enchancer that is supposed to increase my speed by 88%.
My max speed was 299....it is still 299 after the upgrade! Why was my thrust not enhanced? Do I have to be like Bob and call for a sugar pill to get "Natural Male Enhancement"? ;>

I thought the thrust enhancer (in Priv + RF) increased acceleration, and the speed enhancer (in RF) enhanced speed.

flyboy is right...thrust enhancer makes it so you can come to a stop (or full ab) faster
