    Hmm, I don't know if it is "obviously" a parady of Car and Driver since I don't even know what that magazine/article/whatever actually is.

    But I really did like the reference to the fur-less Kilrathi in the movie. A nice in-universe explanation of the design differences.

    I feel like Car and Diver has been parodied before for a video game - but I can't remember where. In fact, I think that in this case, the article was from "Fighter and Pilot" also.

    I'll have to look through my old games next time I'm in NY. It would be funny if there were two Fighter and Pilot entries out there from different universes!
