Is there a way to make the inflight communication louder? i set the music to lowest but i can barely hear the threats of my opponents hehe

Yes it is possible to adjust. While in flight, < and > adjust the music volume (so it can go even lower)and , and . adjust the sound effects.

I tend to turn the music down two notches and the SFX up 6.. We'll get it sorted out so something like that is the default.
