Not really, the wing itself will provide better stabalization than a normal narrow wing. Much like the Concorde, speed will be the key factor in control, but will not require the control surfaces as a normal wing would. I might have to experiment with the amount of movement on the alierons and vertical stabalizers, but I can sort of "wind tunnel" test it with some large fans and suspending the model by strings or mount it on a small platform that pivots enough to see the effect of the control surfaces.
