Shooting slow intentional?

I have the hardest time shooting with enough preperation to hit an enemy with the cloud bursts or whatever they are in the second level. I can shoot down most of the ships with missles, but when I run out it's impossible! Is there something wrong with the speed of the flak clouds, or am I just not good at this?(probably the latter)

The stats of the guns are adjusted to Privateer stats, which included a low velocity. Time to lead for the target some more...

Oh, and I find flak clouds easy to dodge.

Nope, gun stats are taken from WC2.

Just try not to fly close to the capships / bases... When flying away it is pretty easy to see where the flak is aimed at.
