Register Your Secret Ops Officially (January 31, 2005)

Since the Secret Ops site was taken offline, the only way that people have been able to get their downloaded copies of the game running is with a tool such as HCl's key generator. But it seems that it's still possible to get a registration code from the official site! Josh Bava noticed that the registration section is still available. It's neat that an official Wing Commander thing still exists on the internet.

What a nice oversight of EA... - I just registered again, to get a fresh and ofificial code, and also to check what happens if the database becomes active again.

They did ask a LOT of questions... And it was weird to see that my video card ALONE exceeds the best options in the hardware questions. Sigh.

I’m glad for the chance to create another Official logon since I have no idea what happened to my last one. I am grateful that HC1 created his generator but personally I would love to have an offline version that I can burn on a CD with my SO. I would enjoy it even more if we could make an offline version from the official sight so that we could add it into the SO Fiction Viewer.

Does anybody think they can do that??
