Red with Midway

I searched "TCS Midway" on google and found a Midway with red things near the engine instead of blue things.

Why...uh...why a red thing?

It looks cooler. And yes, I does look high-res, only without "colored light". It also looks like the Midway with the "super detail levels" off.

It's red because that's the color intakes are in WC3 and 4

So why would they change it to blue in the game?

Actually I'm thinking about it and most of the larger cap ships in WC3 have blue intakes.....And I think in 4 Some of the red ones were border worlds....But It was probably something that was left to an artists interpretation so it probably came to a "Whatever's Clever" type motto of Maybe a general consensus during design was "Blue looks better"...It's hard to say

Mmm...possibly beta-midway...is their a .mat file in Prophecy that has a midway with red intakes?

Red stands out better, but it might not fit the design as well. Other ships in Wing Commander have red intakes, so either color could work.
