I'm sorry. I didn't know that it was a factual record. I guess I was asleep in 2000 when that Faraday rebellion happened, and that little WW III thing got resolved.

The CIC timeline's a factual representation of a fictional universe... We can't just make things up and say they happened in that universe (well, we can... but it doesn't make it so)

Things change in six hundred years. Saying that they do not, as you did in your previous postings, does not make sense. No, the ranks they use in WC don't correspond directly to current ones. Do they have to? No. Do you have to make up something to explain why not? No. A change happened between 'now' and 'then' in a fictional universe. You don't need to explain that since it's not relevant to the game, nor does it really matter in any sense of the term. Nobody cares. Nobody needs to care. Caring about it so much means you've got bigger problems than 'oh! The Ranks are different!'.
