I think someone might have posted this question before but I'm not sure but what the hell I'll ask it anyway, is there a way to extract and view the video cutscenes from the games (i.e. WCIII, WCIV, WC Prophecy)?

Yeah, it's called Ripper. It's a file found in the files section.

Ay? Why wouldn't Ripper work for WC3? I've ne'er tried it, but I dinna ken see why not...
 
Well, you can rip out the movies, but they will be of no use to you.

...wait a minute. <scans his own memory> There might have been... something... that could play WC3 movies. I remember some time last year, or perhaps even earlier, I read - or I think I read - a CIC news update to that effect. The title said something about stopping the sun...
 
I dunno. Could be. I did find the original news update (heh, I recommend that everyone take a look at the news archive every once in a while... ah, the days when P3 was just a matter of time

There is a movie viewer here in the files, but it only works with the DOS version of the game, and you have to view the movies *through* the game.
