The only image is the one from S*S in the Nephilim ship chart.

Hmm good point of reference.... I'd make a model but because it's pretty much round. It might be too many polys if I start making one. I guess 'll give it a shot. If anyone wants to give me some pointers by all means I'm open to suggestion. :) take n as always cheers and happy holidays

Speaking of the chart, what was the thing above the Moray? And also the thing after the Triton? And what's with the upside-down Hydra?!

You should remember that they all have coral reef like looks and textures, and I would love to download the ship for WCP/SO!

Good luck on the Puffer... Now...What about a Shark Class?

Some of those are new ships to us. I forget the story behind the Hydra. Try searching the CZ.

We have no idea what the ship above the moray is, or the ship after the Triton (Though it is classified as a "support" ship.

The upside down Hydra, as best as I can determine, was a goof made on the WCP Gold packaging/cd case/box (Not sure which) that has now been wrote into Canon as a Marlin-class ship.

Also, be careful with the texturing. IMO the Nephilim ships have more of an obsidian type of texture. Coral tends to be rough and brightly colored, Nephilim ships tend to have darker more "glassy" colors if you ask me. Except maybe for that Red Manta.

The best views of Nephilim ship textures can be seen in this Sean Murphy pic and this Mark Vearrier pic. I'm sure there are others but a quick front page search didn't bring up the ones I am thinking of. Little help?

I don't think we can say it's spherical.. It might only be round in the top view. The puffer might be round in the way that a WC1 Dralthi is round. Maybe it's called puffer because of the spikes... or maybe it's called puffer because it can make itself larger at times.

My guess would be, based on the references we have, is that the ship either puffs up and explodes, or just shoots off a bunch of spikes (like a porcupine). I've thought of some really neat WCSO tricks you could do with that...have it fire off a dozen dumbfires in a dozen points around it's axis. That could be really fun. Maybe mod the dumbfires to damage components, have some fighters escort it right in next to a capital ship....

Interesting concept on the multi missile theory.

Well in revisiting this topic here's some preliminaries of (What I think is similar too) the Puffer Class ship featured in S*S. If there's anything you think I should add lemme know. :)

I think this ship is going to have alot of armor and I mean alot!!, and some type of "slow gun" meaning the velocity of the energy will be really slow like 400 or 500 with a fast refire rate if that makes sense. Maybe something that goes in multiple directions. And some type of missile similar to the Swarmer just slower

Couldn't Edit: the Alien Swarmer would have an unually loooooooong lock time meaning even tho the missiles are much slower.....you have a chance to evade them but they may just come back and bite you if your not careful

Nice start. Maybe darken the textures a bit? They seem bright compared to other bug ships.

Yea the I brightened the lighting in the viewer just so you guys could see it a little bit better. Heres a pic without any brightening or darkening. Also I used the Manta Textures as a base...from Secret Ops. I haven't darkened or lightened the textures at all. But Good lookin on pointing it out tho I thought it was a little lighter too.
