Hey all. Didn't necessarily want to start a new thread on this, but ignoring my usual policy of not searching for a similar thread first didn't pan out.

I've gotten some use out of the shipsalien.doc information that was posted to CIC a few years back in recent days. I was wondering if there was a similar document for Confederation craft, and if so if there was a link to it anywhere. I'm specifically searching for data for the SR-51 Seahawk, in particular if that design ever had a length stat assigned to it (even unofficially).

No clue, but if I had to make an educated guess I would say it is approximately the size of the Broadsword, maybe a tad bigger.

    EDIT:
The only canonical info about that thing is gathered here:
    http://www.wcnews.com/ships/wcpseahawk.shtml

EDIT2: Maybe the Standoff guys have an ingame size from the engine. I don't know whether Prophecy ships are to scale in the vision engine though.

Yeah...I'm trying to avoid guessing if I can......which is why I'm trying the design doc route.

That said, I am taking the density route, in case I have no other choice...

There's a ships confer.doc, I will dig it up when I'm at home. (Currently posting from the National Air and Space museum.)

Ah, much thanks. Amazing how many searches fail for want of an underscore...

I tried to extrapolate the length based on the lengths and masses of the other craft in Prophecy earlier this afternoon. Those methods all pointed to a length around 37 meters. It's nice to know I wasn't that far off.

Hehe, yeah. My guess was around Broadsword size as well. Interesting that it is smaller. But it fits. :)

This may not be the best time to ask, but is there anything similar in existence for the craft of Privateer 2 (i.e. ship descriptions from the game's design documents)? I know I've asked recently; I remember you'd mentioned getting some materials from the UK not too long ago, Bandit LOAF.

Still waiting on that package! I don't know of any documents with ship data for Privateer 2, though. I kind of doubt there's a similar documents - the P2 ship designs were repurposed several times over during the course of the project.

    Well, that bites. Thanks anyway.

Just out of curiosity, are there any design doc files available for P2?
