i think the Gladius is actually stronger now then it was in E1. The increased fire ratio makes it extremely effective once you get over the missing ITTS. My only problem is the small fuel tank.
I had no problems with the Gladius after it lost its ITTS. I just use full guns and shoot single bursts at stubborn targets, only really laying in when I've got a sure shot. With smaller targets like the Sartha, Drakhri and Talon, the single bursts usually take care of it after a couple of shots.
