Random art guy.
Hello, folks! For this update, I'll start it off and Joel will give the code update later on. On the Art side, I've got something I'm quite excited about - The new, updated version of the Ralari. Now, I don't know if you guys remember, but I've done a Ralari before. I was never very happy with it, though - The mesh was done by Mick - (not Brad Mick, another Mick, sadly I can't remember his last name. This mesh is his work, my textures):

I think the problem is that I just took his mesh, and quickly slapped some textures on it, and never really gave it the attention it deserved. There are things like the indented paint stripes that really bugged me too.
Anyhow, more recently, Loaf, Chris and the gang had discovered a new WC FM Towns game cover, with showed a Frathi in extremely high detail.

It looks awesome, and made me want to do a Frathi. Unfortunately (for me, not you) Brad Mick has called dibs on the Frathi, so I decided to go back and re-do the Ralari in that style. I had to re-do a goodly portion of the mesh, although the main shape and poly-layout are still Micks. The most work was on the textures. Anyhow, without further ado:

I've updated these at the bottom too - my web service has been a bit wonky recently.
So there you go - I've tried to keep as close to the original colors and layout as possible. Check the Ships database for the sprite screenshots...

Still to do is a bit of clean-up around the engine nozzles, and the main turrets - top and bottom. Those will be comparable to the main anti-shipping turrets on the Exeter and Bengal. Incidentally, does anyone know what the huge cannons on the wings were for? I'd guess they were early AMGs, but that's pure speculation on my part.
Enjoy, everyone.
