Problems with a WC3 mission.

I'm on the mission where we are leaving the nebula and I'm escorting the Victory to the jump point. The nav point after the Victory realizes the jump point is not there is the problem I'm having. After dogfighting a few fighters, the Victory immediately calls for assistance, even though the fighters are gone and a corvette is the only enemy on the screen, well away from the Victory. After calling for assistance, it blows up. Tried the mission numerous times. I've even tried landing early before that nav point. Even though they say I have clearance, I am unable to land.
Really need some help on this one. Thanks

The corvette is firing a Skipper missile at the Victory -- nail the corvette immediately, or watch for the missile being fired and shoot it down!

Bring an Arrow. Its speed, quick acceleration, and centerline guns make pinching the skipper a boat load easier. A Hellcat can only catch the missile at afterburn.
