Problems controlling the ship in WC4

Hi everybody !

First of all, I apologize for posting for the first time and already asking for help

I found your great site just minutes after finding my old WC games in a dusty box, and I'm just too eager to play.

I followed the procedure to run WC4 on a Win XP-based system, and everything works fine, but I've got a major problem : controlling a ship with the keyboard is close to a nightmare. I tried to calbrate my Microsoft pad, but it didn't work, and my old joystick is as good as dead...

So, is there a way to play with the mouse ?

Have tried going into the game options during a mission by pressing alt + O? One of the options in there is to select controller type and you can select to play with the mouse. If you haven't changed this already it's probably set to keyboard, which is the default setting.

Thanks for the fast answer, I'll try that as soon as possible.

The thing is, part of my game's manual is unreadable (don't ask me why, I don't know what happened in my parent's basement ), I should try to find a copy of it, it'd be easier than annoy you guys with my questions
