Priv 1 wont acknowledge my joystick

I don't know what to do for some reason privateer wont find my joystick and will default to the keyboard.
The joystick that I have is a RaiderPro, it is a 2 axis, 4 button joystick with a PC game port. that is all I know help me out here.

Firstly, I assume you're using it through the sound card (not a dedicated game port), if so, which - is there any environment set for the joystick port?

There are at least two RaiderPro joysticks. Digital and Analog. Which one do you have? I am assuming you have the analog and a SB compartible sound card and the joystick is plug into the sound card.

In the autoexec.bat in the SET BLASTER line add "J200" to the end of the line.
Example:
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 T6 J200
This will activate a game port under DOS.

Bahhh! Get rid of stupid Raider pro joystick, and get SunCom's "Falcon" joystick, available for $10-20 at a Computer show near you (in my country, shows come once every 4-6 weeks). A good, durable, realistic 4 button joystick that kicks butt.
