It's not part of the Hitchhikers series. Its a real story about him and Mark Carwardine (a guy that is great at zoology) visiting some animals that are about to get extinct (well, the book is from 1990). It's awesome, it's so funny because it's real and yet it's about a serious topic. I really recommend it.
