Need help running episode-2

Being semi computer-illiterate myself, I was wondering if someone might be able to help me get episode-2 up and running. I recently got my machine back from a friend who cleaned everything out of it including episode-1 with all of my saved games. Now I have everything downloaded again, but I would like to start off with episode-2 without having to play through all the old missions first - especially that damnable base assault mission. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
Not possible, sorry. In order to play episode 2, you first need to play episode 1 - there is no way to skip it - especially since some stuff in the later episodes happens differently depending on what you did with Sparrow.

It's not a problem to get through episode 1 quickly, though - you can use invulnerability, and if that's not enough, you could also use the "shoehorn" cheatcode. Using that, you'd probably be able to finish episode 1 in about fifteen minutes.
