Posted a mac beta...but I haven't been able to find any mac users to test it.... it was nearly impossible to build any sort of coherent mac release---had to bend every rule in the book to get the bloody thing to link. Anyhow it's at http://priv.solsector.net/downloads.htm if you have a mac...or know anyone with a mac please have them test it!
Will the windows version of beta 8 be ready soon too? Maybe some advertising at a mac site is in order.
what are the macintosh requirements? I'm probably the only mac guy on the forum and I'd be willing to give it a shot for you. I'm running an older iMac G3 500 MHz, so I'm not sure if I have sufficient resources for it. I'm getting a brand new iMac 1.2 GHz G5 in a few weeks and I know that will be able to pull it off.
