Kilrati Saga cd3 STOLEN NEED BURN

Darkmage

Vice Admiral
Could some one PLEASE burn me a copy of cd 3 I bought the full set legally for $49.95 australian about $25.00 US but I took the cd's to school and cd 3 got stolen. I swear if I ever find the guy who stole it I'll kill him. So can anyone help me? I have scanned three of my cd's in as proof of ownership. if any other proof is needed then just ask me about anything about the Kilrathi Saga and I'll tell you it.

I am not sure if this violates rule 11 or not but hey whatever, you should try contacting origin and see if you can get them from them.

Um yeah... I think Nap's right!

Get the customer service from Origin and maybe they'll be able to help you out...

And I guess this does not violate rule 11, since Darkmage provided proof of ownership with the scans (which could be obtained on eBay... whooops :)).

Besides, somebody (I'm not pointing fingers to... say... EARTHWORM!!) would have alredy edited the post if it violated any rules... :p

If they could sell single cd's does that mean that it would be possible to convince them to sell full copies?

and if he was trying to get an illeagal copy he would have claimed that the whole thing was stolen ;)

Ok more proof is needed I can live with that.
The barcode from the box is: 14633 05651
The EA registration sticker on the side the number is: EA192870
The Kilrathi saga comes with a 128 Page book, the last words in the book are: The tractor beam is a vital tool in search-and-rescue missions.
It also comes with a Limited edition calander with pics of concept art.
I tried to contact customer service and the bottom line is
WE DO NOT MAKE WING COMMANDER KILRATHI SAGA ANYMORE. TRY TO BUY A COPY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE E-BAY
No I'm not going to fork out $525.00
on a Wing Commander game I've already finished.

There is no need for such language.

Uh, that last bit makes it sound as if there's no point in playing it again...

Damn right, I loved Wing Commander 3 but I guess if I can't get a burn I'll just have to use my fix 'sigh' you can use the dos version cd's to replace the missing one but you don't get sound or music for the entire cd's length which sucks as Ireally liked the Blackmane base missions and they're the ones on cd 3. :(

Speaking of finding missing stuff.....

Are hopes of finding the WC1 special operations 1 and 2 hopeless or should I try to find the WC1 delux cd? Sorry if this is not about KS.

Ya know, Napoleon, when you read the rules, you really should start off with Rule 1... :)

I twas not flaming or harasing I twas mearly saying that it might not have been a good idea, but I did give advice about the issue

Hmm, I do not think that you will find WC1 and the Secret Missions anymore in regular stores. Neither the deluxe edition. I got mine from the EA "Top Ten Pak II", perhaps this is still around.

Thanks, maybe find on eBay one of these days! I got the original WC1, runs good but wanted to complete it by finding the sm1 and 2.

I think Quarto said he fiddled with the KS SM1/2 and got them working with the original DOS WC1... but I dunno if that's wholly legit. :)

Aren't SM1 and SM2 freeware for KS?
They're freely downloadable from many sites... (the CIC is one of them I think!! How lucky is THAT?? ;))

Napoleon: Oh, I wasn't talking just about this thread. You've been doing a lot of rule-pointing-out recently, and it's not exactly your job. I mean, I don't mind if you do a bit of that, but when you do it this often, it does get somewhat annoying.

mpanty: They're not freeware - an add-on can't really be freeware since it requires the original product :).

Wedge: Actually, I couldn't get SM1/2 running, because in WC1 ship stats were kept in the .EXE files (and you do need KSaga to use the SM1/2 KSaga EXEs). SO1/2, on the other hand, were easy (though even with them, you can't get everything; the Morningstar won't jump, and the Mace doesn't exist). I'm not sure if it's legit either... but it sure was fun ;).
