Rear Admiral
I was creating a HW map using the WC mod called, "Pearl Harbor Revisited"

Its like this,
The confed side's cruisers, destroyers and mothership is in an asteroid belt, 20 Sorthak fighters (with torps) fly into the belt with 10 Darket and 20 Drathi as escorts the only defence is a wing of Excaliburs.

Confed has 2 hopes,
Its carrier group with lots of Hellcats is on the other side of the map. All that is needed is a hyperspace jump, but is there time?
2nd
A wing of patrolling BroadSwords detect the carriers which the Kilrathi took off from, with the Mothership nearby. If they could destroy them, Confed will prevail

So, what do you think of my scenario?

Personally I think your scenario is weighted in Confed's favor. After playing through WC3 numerous times I believe I can say with reasonable justification a wing of Excaliburs could cut big swathes through the Sorthaks, and the Dralthis and Darkets really wouldn't be a problem. As for that additional stuff, that doesn't sound like the historical Pearl Harbor.

YEAH!!!!! Make McAulliffe! Like the movie, except less crap!

I did a small scenario for Vega Strike once. What I'd suggest is about a dozen capships (or as many as you can fit), several Cat carriers (six would be nice, but I guess three would work fine), and LOTS of Dralthi. The historical Pearl Harbor had 350 planes, and I'm betting McAulliffe had tons more...not that you can fit all them, but make it look like the opening of the WCM or the movie Pearl Harbor :)

Keep the carriers, but tone down the Hellcats - most of the American fighters were destroyed on the ground, and at McAulliffe the Confee fleet was outnumbered two to one., so lose the Excaliburs. Hellcats will have to do here. Have the Broadswords move towards the Confee carriers - they can play the B-17s that came into Pearl when the bombing started.

Note that I don't have the FA mod, just making uninformed suggestions.

350 fighters is about right if you're doing the first portion of McAuliffe -- that was the size of the first Kilrathi strike.

and at McAulliffe the Confee fleet was outnumbered two to one.,

The combined forces of the 7th Fleet and TF21 were far, far greater than the Kilrathi battlegroup... it was the element of surprise, not superior numbers, that allowed the Kilrathi their victory.

You can turn unit capping off in Homeworld. It makes for better games and fun crashing computers.
