Help...

I need help finding the bouy in disk 2.. said I'm supposed to scan around with somthing... It's the one with the asteroid field and all those bouys... It's pissing me off!!! lol help.. I keep failing and I don't know why...

WCP, right? It's been a while... try targeting the buoy and getting close to it, then waitng until your HUD tells you if it's the correct buoy or not. Shouldnt be a big deal seeing as it's just you or Stilletto finding the buoy.

Finding the buoy is easy if you use max speed, shoot at the objects, until deystroyed, the only one left if you get that far will be the jammer-it doesn't take damage. Use after burners to get within gun range as quickly as possible.

A hint: You need to scan only those objects that look like tripods with a red top. Forget the other ones!
Oh, and keep Stiletto occupied with one or two fighters (kill the Mantas yourself, though, you don't want to take the risk of losing her, do you?

). If she finds the jammer first the mission is considered a failure!

I'd prefer not to let Stilleto go on about how she located the jammer. Not that she shouldn't, but Casey's supposed to do everything from going out on his own to escort a SAR shuttle into a hot zone to taking on hordes of Mantas, Devil Rays, and Barracudas singlehandedly.

DH: I didn't want to make it too easy. But going around that asteroid field scanning each and every piece of space junk there gets boring after a while.

Well, here's the easiest way: turn off smart targeting, and go into the NAV map. Select target until you hit the 13th buoy (I think), that is the buoy you lock to and search.
