In October, 1999 they hired back as much of the team as had not moved on to Star Wars Galaxies as they could to create... Wing Commander Online: Privateer. This enormous document is the executive summary for that game, created to convince Electronic Arts executives that it was a well planned project. It includes more details on the cancelled game than have ever been revealed before and even some full color artwork! I was a bit confused by the 'player profiles' on pages 4/5. I gather from pages 20-22 that they were role-playing different types of players. Freelancer recognised on (PDF) page 46 as a competitor, nice. On pages where there is mostly blank space, there is an odd-shaped paper-clip in the centre of the page. Why is that? For camera focus?
