As the official July 5 electronic release date of Baen's Wing Commander Freedom Flight quickly approaches, another quarter of the book has been published. Baen has a history of parsing out partial early drafts of their new sci-fi novels ahead of an official launch, and this happens to extend to rereleases of their back catalog such as this. I need to get back into the wc novels. I finished fleet action and false colors with false colors being my favorite. it was a little slow in the middle; I thought the author went on too long with the docking of the shuttle to the super carrier, but the ending really worked for me, plus I loved what they did with bear and tolwyn in the book.

right now im in star wars mode, finished aftermath and while not great, I thought it was better than most folks. Im halfway through lords of the sith which is awesome, than on to bloodline which I believe is the newest novel and takes place about 5 to 7 yrs before the force awakens.
