Work on FC 1.6 is coming along. I've implemented damage reports, and the damage model.

If you get shot up, your ship's performance starts to degrade. You lose missiles, you slow down, you can't afterburn. Your trusty repair system helps get you back on your feet.

While I was at it, I cleaned up the hud a little bit too.

Ah! AMAZING! That looks so unbelievably neato! If you looked up awesomeness in the wiki dictionary there will be a picture of you and MrBen next to this hud.

Do I spy native support for 1280 by 1024?

You've always been able to run at any resolution your graphics card supports.

Never worked for me. My GeForce 7800GTX runs at 1280x1024, but it doesn't come up under Flight Commander. I have to force it by editing the settings.xml file.
