Cyberion Builds WCA Epee (January 27, 2005)

After a couple of months break to try his hand at projects such as wallpapers and websites, Cyberion has gone back to modeling ships. This time he has decided to show off his talents with a model of an Epee, but it's not what you think. This Epee is based on the Wing Commander Academy animated series design, which is a lot more boxy than its WC2 counterpart. You can download the model in Lightwave format here. The third picture here is captured from WCA for comparison purposes. The actual design was made with the help of blueprints drawn by BradMick and LOAF.

Yours is a bitchin' kickass wikkedly cool rendering of a buttugly-halfassed drawn ship.
...so about the only thing I like about it is that YOU did it in 3D... and did it nicely too!

Yes, i'd say great model as usual, but even the WCM Rapier was not as revolting as the WCC Epee. It looks like a packing crate with wings.

I agree, the model is great, the origin of it is bad. I'd prefer a WC2 Epee model anytime, best with the greenish colors.

What about making another model of the Excalibur? I can't get enough of that ship.
