Wing Commander CIC

Hey, once I complete the Cruiser Assault Mission and go to the hanger landing scene, the game locks up then creases to desktop with this error.

FileStreamer:: read failed 0 0 23 fs:: read WaitForMultipleObjects 1 3

What is that all about and how do I fix it?
