Confed Shuttles

Basically, I need to know as much established information as there is.
Is there an established class or number, like Drayman or C-44?
Are they modular? Or simply have several different types.
Tell me everything.

I should really let someone else answer this but...

At the time of WCP/SO there is a Condor-class Shuttle that appears to be modular, it handles refueling, transport, and Search and Rescue work, apparently all in the same model. According to various fan sites that I've stumbled across

http://hkn.eecs.berkeley.edu/~drake/wcguide.html (is one)

It's listed as the SAR-23 Condor Class Shuttle.

There's also the Marine Landing Craft (which does NOT appear to be modular, that's listed as the TS-10 Hercules (again that's according to fan sites, so take that info with a grain of salt).

In WC3 and WC4 we also see a rather underdevloped shuttle that could literally be described as a box with wings. It carries no known class or designator, as far as I know.

What era are we looking at?

SAR-23 is the SAR variant. SAR-21 is the refuelling variant

They're probably type R Confed shuttles, as they're the top of the line shuttle class at the end of the Kilrathi war, as mentioned in False Colors.

What about a Transport?

Curious, I never knew that. Is there another designation for a shuttle variant that serves as a shuttle for you know, crew and stuff, or admirals, or cargo, even for that matter? Obviously for it to be called a shuttle, it must be capable of doing that...

And, TC, is there anything about WC you don't know?

As far as I know, they've only refered to them as VIP shuttles... and we haven't seen the Condor, IIRC which I may not, in a cargo type configuration, as a result we don't know what it might be called.

I was going to say something witty about things that have been indeterminate in the past... but I can't think of one that won't start a horribly pointless debate. So I'll just say, yes.

TC knows a lot, but the data bank here is LOAF. He knows more about WC than the guys who made WC.

Yeah...Bandit LOAF :p Hope he finishes his encyclopedia project this eon so he can Enlight us all ;)
