cheats?

I'm kinda embarased for asking this, but are there any cheat codes for this game? I'm REALLY stuck and I don't wana start back at the begining.

Read the modding thread. I've been stuck for days with the oxford rare books escort mission. I've just edited units.csv, as per that thread, to slow down the attackers.

I've found you can edit your ship - 'serialized_xml\saved_game', and add weapon mounts or boost your shields if it helps.

"saved_game" of course means the name of the savegame you used.
