Behemoth question

Shipgate

Rear Admiral
I'm not sure if this has been brought up about the Behemoth. But was it really that strange to everyone that the Kilrathi zeroed in on that soft spot? I knew it was strange that the Kilrathi knew their exact location, so obviously there was a spy somewhere. But the way Rachel talks about how they went in on that soft spot didn't seem that strange to me. Because you can see those spots a mile away. It practically has nothing covering those areas so even if it was just a bunch of cats who happened upon their position and wanted to destroy that big ship, I'd be like, "Hey look at those obviously unfinished areas around the ship. Let's mainly target those."

yeah, i remember flying through one of the holes, into the chamber where the gun is, watching Loki get blown up, then finding myself back in space surrounded by paktahns

they did it on purpuse i guess... so that protecting her wouldn't be that easy.

but come on, everyone who finished wc3 knows why she had soft spots...

Maybe it was also vulneable on a not-so-visible way. Beside, the Kilrathi also knew where and when to attack. Thrakkath was there, it was not likely to be random. And it's a plot device.

well... search for ginger lynn allen on the internet, and you get to know her true soft spot ;)

I was not hard to see Behemoth soft spots, But maybe they had something like a aouto aiming or something that they wrote in the exact location...

it's kinda wierd that on those spots the shields were thin... i would make them thicker on those less armoured parts

Not only did the cats know the spots to hit, but they also knew where would the Behemoth be, and when.

And who was protecting her along with what ships would comprise her battlegroup...they had just about everything they could ask for because of the true "Heart of the Tiger" Ralgha....

One would think that the impending doom of his homeworld could tip the balance... Was the whole "mind experiment" thing even necessary?

don't you guys remember that prophecy?

"...who has the heart of a tiger, but is not kilrathi born..."

No, it's me.

Goob. :D

I always thought it would be funny in WC3 if you went into the barracks area and Hobbes was licking himself.

Behemoth

I think the reason it was so obvious that there was a spy was not because of the fact that they attacked the soft spots, DUH! But actually being a pilot in training myself, from what I gathered from watching the CGs, it was actually the attack patterns that tipped them off, like if you go in at an enemy ship, and you see the soft spots, the attack will kind of look scrappy, and unorganized, but this one looked like they had already been briefed on where to attack in advance so it would go off w/o a hitch.

haha... yeah. or when you came in, you see rachel, flint an cobra exploring each other

but anyway, those pakthans were swarming in on one of the soft spots. now, if the cats could make an analysis of the behemoth so fast to see were the soft spots were that would make sense why they attacked there. but as soon as you jump into kilrah, those things start shooting and torping that soft spot... so, you maybe have a leaky person onboard. how else do the cats know?
