Arming turrets

I can't seem to arm my turret(s). I want to put a tractor beam there. However, when I try, the only options I get are to replace one of my guns or rocket launchers. What am I doing wrong?

Turrets come pre-armed.

You may have noticed there are several types of turrets available, like Laser Turret or Tachyon Turret. The Tachyon Turret comes with two tachyon cannons and a tractor beam. All the turrets have 2 guns and a tractor beam. Their price varies based on which guns it has.
