Another Alternative for WC Future?

Is it possible for Chris Roberts and Digital Anvil to re-acquire the right for WC Series from OSI? Maybe Roberts and DA can bring the WC Series back and make them even better?
 
Perhaps they'd like to do that, but it's a very stupid thing for them to be considering. With SL and FL coming soon, and two or so more SL games planed a WC game would realy screw up the sales of those. Not to mention that untill DA can put out a game with at least 1 hour of cutscenes and more than 30 I don't even want to think of a WC game they'd make.

I don't think it's likely that DA would do more WC things right now. It's possible some subcompany EA has ties to could do it.. sort of like how Warthog in England did Privateer 2.. but if (and that's a big if) DA got Wing Commander rights in the near future, it'd be for something more like the movie/tv series.
