It's certainly been an exciting twenty four hours - if you haven't been following the news, we now have over a gigabyte of Wing Commander Arena preview videos in our archive! Today we're looking back at some other exciting news from the past week - the Arena concept art seen at the Gaia Industries office. First of all, GamerTag Radio has posted a YouTube video of the Street Trace: NYC preview event. It includes a few seconds of the 'Arena board', which we've cut out and put online here (584k, AVI). It's blurry, but you get an impression of how the artwork is layed out. I have to say that Arrow Guardian looks fantastic and so does the Broadword variant. Overall I have to come like ARENA more and more. Also some part of me hopes to see the reapearance of the mythical beast again in the series. Othervise well done articel.
Are we talking about the Cerberus? I don't think it makes an appearance... although, who knows - if you'd asked me twenty-four hours ago if there were Longbows in the game I'd have said no.
No Cerberus wasnt what I had in mind, but never mind that. As for Lonbows cant say that id miss them. I gather all the ships are set and there wont be any new additions say like newer version of Thunderbolt?
The Longbow isn't flyable, it's just nice part of the maps. The current ships are set, but d/l content is a definite possibility depending on how well Arena does on XBLA.
