A Somber Anniversary (January 28, 2001)

Today we'll take a moment to recognize the fifteenth anniversary of loss of Shuttle Challenger. If you're not too familiar with the incident, you can read up here. There are also numerous Wing Commander items named in honor of the ship and its crew, such as the McAuliffe System, Challenger Quadrant and STS-51L System. No doubt there are other references.
